The slanted edges of bevels refract light into a rainbow of colors -- both inside the glass, and onto your walls, floors and ceilings. Using bevels in windows, doors, and suncatchers is very popular, but don't forget about other applications like candle holders and boxes. Augment your project with bevels, sit back, and catch the rays!

I like to use double bevels because the extra faceted surface makes a prismatic effect in my projects. When the light hits the bevels it creates stunning sparkles in the glass.
