Pros : I really enjoy this book, both for ideas, and for the educational and technical details it offers. Now that I've made a few things "for fun" and I'm ready to be a more serious student, I am relying on this book a lot. The illustrations are beautiful and helpful.

| Other Thoughts : Some of the detailed firing advice doesn't really make sense until you a have a little experience. Not really a con - just don't get overwhelmed because you'll be glad you have this book if as you become ready to try new pieces and ideas of your own. |

Pros : Excellent color photography throughout, documenting every step of the various processes. Coverage of topics from beginner (materials, methods, etc.) through advanced. And, the price is great!

| Other Thoughts : I have several fusing books, and purchased this one when looking for some advanced techniques. This book has everything a beginner will need, with excellent COLOR photography throughout, plus many advanced techniques. |
