With 75% more diamond surface than the 6" Flat Lap Machine, the new 8" version is a glass worker's dream come true. The work surface and splash guard have been totally redesigned to allow access to the outermost edge of the disks, which facilitates grinding and polishing of the largest possible pieces.
Finish fused, slumped or flameworked projects with ease on this 8" lap grinder. The quick-change laps make it simple to move between the included 170 grit, 325 grit, 600 grit, 1200 grit laps and polishing pads for fast results. The variable speed, direct drive motor is encased in a cleverly designed base that allows the motor shaft to be positioned vertically or horizontally. Set up is quick and easy. Best of all, diamond disk changes take less than a minute. Overall size is 11" wide x 10" deep x 7" high.
