Pros : It really goes on smooth and sticks really well. Really good for the convex edges, you don't get tears like you might with a thinner foil.
Cons : It costs a little more.
Other Thoughts : This is the only foil I will use now.

Pros : Easily turns corners without splitting; it sticks very well and leaves an exceptionally smooth finish.
Cons : Backing is hard to break with fingers due to it's thickness
Other Thoughts : I would definitely pay the extra for this foil especially when doing clear projects such as bevel clusters.

Pros : I like this brand of copper foil best. The 1.25ml thickness is strong but easy to burnish.

After copper, black is best 5 stars

Pros : Best completes a look with solder-turned-black (with time), or with black patina.
Cons : A little more expensive than copper back.
Other Thoughts : 1.25 has a nice intermediate thickness to it, and the black seems to stick really well in my experience. I generally use copper-back of 7/32", and then some applications use this black.
