Pros : Absolutely wonderful. I have put off buying one of these but am glad I didn't put it off any longer. Easy to set up use and it does a wonderful job. I highly recommend this for a easy really nice look to foiling.
Cons : Very small pieces are better done by hand. Anything with lots of tight curves would be better done by hand. However, I did a piece with flowing curves and it was great.
| Other Thoughts : This is a gem don't hesitate. |

Pros : "This thing is awesome", or so my wife says. I got it for her and she says it saves hers a ton of time. It is solidly built and very easy to use.
Cons : For my part, the only thing that I can see is that it is was built a little hastily in the factory. The details in how it was assembled were clearly ignored. (for example the top block is crocked and the particle board showing) It may effect its performance down the road but for now it is just cosmetic.

Pros : I live in South Africa and bought the table foiler via the internet because I wanted an alternative to foiling by hand, and secondly, I love gadgets. I will never foil without it. Fast to use, even on the really small pieces.
Cons : Difficult to line up at first, but with practice, that is no longer a problem.
| Other Thoughts : A bit expensive for us in South Africa with our awful exchange rate and import charges, but definitely worth it. |

Pros : This fioiler works as advertised. Zips through big pieces and greatly cuts foiling time.
Cons : the foiler can leave small places that are not foiled properly, but these are usually easy to fix. Do not forget how to foil by hand, small pieces and tight curves are easier to foil by hand than trying to use the machine.
| Other Thoughts : Make sure you read and follow the instructions. the setting to get the foil centered can be touchy. A quarter turn of the wing nut means the difference between centered foil and a bad looking job. It would have been nice if the adjusting screw was fine threads instead of coarse. Make sure that you keep the glass flat on the foiler table. I found it best to start an end each foil at the 9 o'clock position. It helps keep the foil in the wheel. |

Pros : I like it. My foiling is consistently even. Yeah!
Cons : Doesn't work great on small pieces, and tight corners are tougher.

Pros : Accurate, reliable, fast, simple.
Cons : Works well with Venture brand. Must have to do with the exacts widths or stiffness of the foil.
| Other Thoughts : I've used this foiler for over a year now and nothing compares for the precision. Easier to foil with glass laying on a flat surface than trying to foil holding glass in verticle position like most other foilers. Any item smaller than a quarter would be best foiled by hand. If I were to lose this tool today, I would have a new one tomorrow. It's that critical to me and I've done over 150 glass projects. For tight radius, I will start next to curve but not in curve and foil entire piece then leave enough extra foil when I cut it loose from the roll and foil the curve by hand but last. |

Pros : Living in a time in which products often don't live up to their hype, I'm amazed the Table Foiler performed as advertised. After 3 or 4 practice pieces I was foiling like a pro. I wish I had moved on from foiling by hand long before this.
Cons : NONE
| Other Thoughts : One of the things I like most is that the bigger pieces are easier and help move through an otherwise boring procedure in record time. It's easy to patch when needed too. |

Pros : This product has changed my outlook on foiling. I have found it to be quick and easy once you get the hang of it. It centers the foil and crimps the edges. A little practice time before you start and you can zip along with no problems on most pieces. The machine is heavy and sturdy so it doesn't slip.
Cons : I have a tough time getting the foil started in the roller. Curves work but they are touchy.
| Other Thoughts : Would love to see an attachment for the wave foil. Would like to see a storage compartment for the extra rollers |

Pros : Exceptionally fast foiler with professional results. Flexible foil sizes with easy change wheels. A pleasure to use with a small learning curve to top quality work.
Cons : Feet could be more slip proof but if used on a cork surface it isn't an issue.
| Other Thoughts : Instructions should emphasis using a spare piece of glass the size to be foiled as a guide to set up the wheel height. After this is done, nothing can compete with the ease and speed of this tool. Stained glass teachers (large/on-going classes) should be provided one of these at cost to gain more product exposure. Since I took mine to a class, three have been sold as a direct result. |

Pros : If you are doing foiling by hand give it up. It has saved on band-aids!!..I love mine, it has cut down on time.. on large pieces, with light curves..Works on Vary widths of foil..
Cons : Hard to line up foil to get in center of piece. Cannot do small pieces, and very complex curves and small half circles..difficult...
