Pros : Easy to use; look great.

Cons : Only the instructions which make them sound much harder to use than they actually are!

| Other Thoughts : I loved the idea of these but was daunted by the sound of how to use them. So I experimented with one, cutting it out of the card, soaking it and sliding it onto the glass. I pressed and prodded to get it as dry as possible and ensure was smooth. As I didn't want to wait a day for it to dry, I put it over the vents of my ducted heating for half an hour or so. I popped it in the kiln with my other pieces that were on a computer set full fuse setting and it came out perfectly. Nothing more fiddly than that. I've tried with about 4 others, playing with what backgrounds work and don't work, and I'm thrilled with them. I don't know about scratching as I've only just done them, but so far, so good! Very effective. I will get more at some stage. |

Pros : Very pretty gold decals that look great after firing.
|
Cons : Unfortunately the gold is easily scratched after firing. I had hoped to sell jewelry with these decals, but feel unable to because of the scratching problem. I tried capping the decals with clear glass, but this destroys most of the gold decal.

Pros : Easy to use and very popular in jewelry pieces. The bracelets I did with these sold like lightning!

Cons : a couple small defects in the last sheet I got made one decal unusable.

Pros : Makes a gorgeous 22k gold embellishment. Characters in 3 different sizes, some small enough for post earrings. Not difficult to apply.

Cons : Some of the characters have no mate so they can't be used for matching earrings. Even the largest characters could stand to a bit bigger (pendant size). Have to be fired on top of glass.

| Other Thoughts : I first fired these on opaque glass and then refired with clear over the top. this significantly mutilated the previously beautiful result. In my experience these decals must remain on top of the top glass layer for best results. |
