Dichroic float glass is harder than 90 and 96 COE glass enabling you to add multiple layers without losing the texture, excellent for use in intricate jewelry and sculptural work. This combination pack contains a random mixture dichroic float glass. Pack includes four pieces of dichroic float glass. Each piece is 2" square. 82 COE.
Combine with standard float glass (#M3905 & M3901) for economically priced base glass.
Expert Tip: "Using dichroic float glass for my jewelry gives me the unique look I want to achieve. It is lightweight so I can stack several layers without adding much weight, and the edge of the glass stays more defined after fusing than COE 90 or 96 so I get a very dimensional look to my jewelry." - Janet Schrader
Pros : I love the finished product as it is very delicate yet the colors are vibrant. My friends seem to like the finished product. I haven't had any for sale yet so I don't know if my customers will like it as well as my other dicro pieces.
Cons : Hard to cut, especially curves. I've had a terrible time finding the 2 sided leaf bails!
