Pros : This kit is a great starter kit, especially if you want to make sure you like lampwork without a huge investment. It comes with everything you need but protective eyewear and MAPP gas. Worth every penny!

Cons : The instructional video is non informative. I just researched lampworking forums and videos and made some great beads after.

| Other Thoughts : I am super happy with my purchase! I have managed to pull nice colors from some of the special silver glasses on my torch even thought it isn't as hot and propane/oxygen torch. |

Pros : The kit itself is excellent for a beginner and getting started

Cons : The "instructional DVD" advertised on the box cover is a joke. Leave it out or make it truly instructional!

| Other Thoughts : The instructional DVD should include setting up the torch and making a bead more in detail. Rods are round but video shows a rectangular piece of glass that I've never seen and am not sure where you would even purchase. If I didn't know about beadmaking before I got the kit, I would have been very disappointed in the DVD and would have returned the kit. |

Pros : I am a 1st timer to bead making - and I only ruined 1 bead!
It was fun and easy to use - once I got over the initial 1st bead! I ended up making 5 in a row after that! and I am looking forward to giving it another go tomorrow!! :D

Cons : The info on the dvd was the exact same free video offered here on Delphi's website - so don't waste your time with it, and the ring to attach to the torch is a bit tricky at 1st (took me a few tries to get it adequately secured).

Pros : -Comes with everything you need.
-Good assortment of glass rods.
-Literally all you need is safety glasses and a can of MAPP gas to get started.

Cons : -Instructional DVD is BRIEF and could easily be improved. It is very similar to a clip seen on this website

| Other Thoughts : Very fun craft. Takes some skill. Kids would need very close supervision (duh! open flame!!!) No complaints, no regrets. Great price for beginner bundle. |
