Microlite 8 Split Lens - Ace And Boroscope 5 Shade Description

Two Lenses In One!
The latest product in the Phillips Safety's line of flameworking and glassblowing eyewear, the Microlite 8. This new split lens design offers eye protection and allows you to see variations in the flame, no matter if your working with soft glass or borosilicate glass.

The top 1/3 portion is in a Phillips202 ACE lens (designed for working in cooler flames). The bottom 2/3 are in a Green Boroscopes ACE IR lens with a shade of 5.0. Boroscope lenses offers stronger protection against UV and IR rays in hotter flames. A #5 shade is very dark. Also available in a lighter 3.0 shade. Both offer excellent protection.

The new Microlite 8 frame offers comfort and protection in this unique wrap around style frame. Comes standard with leather case and retainer cord.
