 20" Fusing Rake Description     
  Use flame-resistant rake to comb designs in glass when the temperature is approximately 1650 - 1750 degrees Fahrenheit. 20" rake is best used with 14-18" kilns. Protective gloves, like #17702, are strongly recommended.

Artist Char Sanchez from "Kiss My Glasss" created the plate below using the glass rake. Additional photos come from Fuse It, book #6679, where artists and author Petra Kaiser shows you how to achieve streaks of color by raking molten glass in the kiln.
