Glastar Super Star II Grinder
I received the Glastar Super Star II Grinder for Christmas this year and have used it for shaping cabochons, earrings and small bowls for fusing and slumping. I have even used the mini table attachment with 1/4" & 1/8" heads to form smaller twists and turns in my glass shapes. I love this grinder. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and fits comfortably on my countertop. I also like the small drawer in the base which holds a couple of extra grinder heads and tools.
I don't have anything negative to say about this grinder.
I use the standard grinder head sold with the grinder for non dichro fusible glass, but use a finer grinding head for dichro to avoid chips on the edges of the dichroic coating. I would recommend purchasing the additional head for grinding dichroic glass.
