I bought this as a last resort in an attempt to save an old iron tip that was very dirty and not holding temperature well anymore. I had already tried all the other methods of cleaning the tip (brass brush, etc.) to no avail, and this product brought it back from the dead! The tip is now clean and shiny and working great. Definitely worth the money.
