An essential, April 12, 2011 5 stars
Pros
I don't know how I lived without these. I love using the grozer side to nibble away at the edge of glass whenever it breaks wrong or I cut it a little too big.
Cons
Tends to fling shards of glass in every direction. You might want to wear glasses with these.

Worthless, April 12, 2011 1 stars
Pros
Price, but you're better off spending more
Cons
Maybe we've been spoiled by running pliers with metal jaws, but my mom and I can't get these to break anything, not even thin glass.

A decent cutter, April 12, 2011 4 stars
Pros
I'm tempted to say this makes a nicer score than my previous Toyo cutter. It feels comfortable in my hand.
Cons
I've never had problems with it leaking oil out the end where you fill it, but it deposits a LOT of oil during cutting, which makes a slippery mess for my fingers.

Cuts well, but poor durability, April 12, 2011 2 stars
Pros
I learned to cut glass on this, and it makes nice scores and feels comfortable in my hand. I've never had problems with it leaking oil.
Cons
I'd had this for only four months when the top of it cracked clean off. I continued using it, with a plastic baggie rubber-banded over the opening, only to have the cutting end also break clean off after another three months.

Exceptional coloring, April 12, 2011 4 stars
Pros
In addition to the dramatic wavy texture this gives to tack fusing, the green/magenta blue color does just what it says. You end up with undulating streaks of pinky purple accented with lime green and blue. Great visual complexity!
Cons
Like all ripple glass, it's hard to cut and hard to stack other glass on top of.

Pretty cool, April 12, 2011 4 stars
Pros
My mom used one of these in tack fusing and ended up with a gorgeous, no-fuss pendant that was quickly snatched up by a customer.
Cons
The circle developed a cracked, overcooked look in the kiln (maybe because the circles are for "microwave" use?)

Exquisite, April 12, 2011 5 stars
Pros
Gorgeous, plummy red-purple color. Deeply textured glass creates stunning hills and valleys when tack fused.
Cons
Hard to cut. Really difficult to balance additional layers of glass on top of it when prepping for full fuse. I love the color, but it's nothing like the picture. This is a red-purple, not a blue-purple. Looks for CBS violet if you want blue-purple.

Gorgeous, April 12, 2011 5 stars
Pros
I purchased a herringbone texture pack with a square of glass labeled "Pink/Teal". However, I'm skeptical that the glass was actually pink/teal and not yellow/blue. Regardless, pink/teal is one of my favorite CBS colors, and the "pink/teal" herringbone Delphi gave me fuses to a beautiful deep peacock blue. The herringbone texture is especially dramatic when left exposed in tack fusing. Whether you buy pink/teal or yellow/blue herringbone, I'm sure you will be pleased!
Cons
Hard to cut and hard to balance other glass on when full fusing.

Could be better, April 12, 2011 3 stars
Pros
The swirls and streaks on this glass give my cabs beautiful patterning. I also love the crinkly crazing that DichroMagic develops in the kiln.
Cons
Every time I pick up a piece from this pack, I say to myself, "This looks just like the last one I picked up." If you're looking at this, I'd seriously consider buying the Tie Dye Combo instead, though the price is way higher. The colors in this pack are kind of limited too. You get lots of pink, green, and yellow, a bit of blue, and no red or purple.

Adore this, April 12, 2011 5 stars
Pros
If you love cool tones, you will love the purples, blues, and greens that characterize this glass. Overall, I'd say you should expect darker hues than those pictured--think teal-tinged hunter green, deepest purple, and ultramarine. It fuses to a smooth, sparkly finish that's just nuanced enough to keep me reaching for it again and again. A basic with just the right amount of oomph.
