Judith L. comment on Finding Inspiration: There's a Mouse in my Memory

I find inspiration in everything around me...not only for stained glass, but also fused glass and beadwork and crochet! Most recently, it was a picture of my grandson riding a baby calf, and his expression of pure joy!
Millefiori Jewelry Kit - 90 COE
Millefiori Jewelry Kit - 90 COE

Millefiori Jewelry Bracelet Kit, January 31, 2009 4 stars
Pros
All the materials were included with the kit; the colors were nice, but somewhat limited (I got only the teal millefiori with my kit). The quality of the materials were good, and I had adequate supplies to make the bracelet. It is very reasonably priced.
Cons
Perhaps this kit should have been offered in both silver and gold tones. No directions (or even guidelines) were included for fusing the millefiori into cabs. Glue (like a small tube of E6000) would have been useful, especially for beginning jewelry-makers.
Other Thoughts
You should consider writing a one-page sheet of general directions to be included with the kit. I also think that the multi-colored millefiori should be included with all kits as the default (it would make buyers more interested in purchasing the individual colors of millefiori you offer). You might want to consider including a few more of the 1/2 inch squares so the millefiori could be fused to them and then glued to the bracelet. Also, one of the mini tubes of E6000 -or- a small amount of the Triolyse adhesive should be added to the kit, especially for those who have not done this type of craft before. I really enjoyed constructing this bracelet, and can see it becoming one of my favorite ones to wear.
