Lorelei

Adapted from the Carolyn Kyle pattern, Cat and Iris, I constructed this 16 x 22 panel using both the copper foiled and leaded techniques.  The kitty and floral center is foiled, whiskers soldered on the top, and then that panel is leaded into the glass borders with a zinc frame.  The entire piece then slides into a custom frame and was donated to an animal rescue organization in Kirkland, WA. 

The difference in the glass coloring changes from window to window due to the amount of light that was able to get in on the day these photos were taken.
