Circle of Celebration

As a one year survivor of breast cancer I volunteered to join other survivors in re-finishing furniture items to be auctioned off as a fund raiser for the Susan G. Komen Laugh for the Cure in Lubbock, Texas.  I began learning to mosaic with a friend after finishing my chemo and radiation last year and I fell in love with mosaic.   My piece is a round pedestal table measuring 53" in diameter.  I used several shades of Red with Black and a splash of white to support our Texas Tech Red Raiders.  This is the largest project I've done and I'm very proud how it turned out.
