This piece depicts a sacred kingfisher watching its potential dinner by the riverside. The bird's feathers are made from fused glass pieces. The riverbed is a mosaic featuring mirrored glass fish. I adhered a layer of clear baroque glass over the riverbed to represent the flow and reflective nature of the water.
