Description:

 

The glass was glued directly on to MDF board, and the butterfly is the Mississippi State butterfly:  Spicebush Swallowtail.  This was designed from an actual picture of a butterfly.  Clear glass, enamel polish and paint were used to paint this guy.  Copper wire was used for his antennas. This was then framed using red oak, the frame painted, and then the picture grouted by mixing grout to the color of the glass and clear sealed.
