Description
The KEY to a happy marriage is Yes Dear!!! Two - This piece was also made as a family member's wedding gift and the theme something old, (the key from a old house in the family) something new (the shoe) and something blue (shoe decoration from a local pottery) was also used. Gold chain and rose buttons were used for the border. Added a dragonfly. The soles of the shoe were made from jewelry. This has the dogwood flowers in it (these were originally carved in wood, a mold made, then the piece was cast and painted using enamel paint. Two leaf buttons were used to accent the flowers. The “wall paper” was pink and mirror stripes. It was then framed with red oak and painted, then grouted with a light pastel blue.
