Just a fun silly piece... Glass was glued on to plain brown material which shows through the glass. The watermelon was out of clear textured glass and painted on the back - seeds were painted first then the pink color last. Bright red paint was used to make the lips. The picture looks better - almost like a real watermelon in real life, sorry my phographic skills can duplicate it. This was framed in red oak, painted then the piece was grouted and sealed.
