Teal and Brown Plate Crosses

Description
First you rummage around and find some plates you don't mind breaking... These plates were found on sale at one of the large super stores. Breaking the plates is the best part - but there is a trick to it... first you must find a large durable plastic bag, put the plate in it and then hammer it - the bag pretty much contains the mess and keeps the pieces from going air born into your face... Just smash until you are happy with the size you want. These plates were teal in the center had a brown rim and the back was brown. Used buttons for the decorations. Making plate crosses has given me a whole new perspective on working with mosaics especially when hearing the crashing sound of breaking plates! I get excited at the possibility of making something...
