This is a one of a kind original fused glass art piece, signed and numbered by the artist.

This sculpture is Boldly Sparkling and brightly colorful. It was created especially to bring to life the colorful beauty of the majestic green parrots that are commonly seen in our South Florida trees. The parrot is not a native of our state, however in 1992 hurricane Andrew slammed south Florida and multitudes of these spectacular birds were set free in the wild due to the destruction of many of our zoos. Our environment being a perfect place for them to naturally adapt to, today they continue to flourish and populate our tree tops.

Additionally, the Florida Keys have long embraced the Parrot as their symbol and many affectionato of the Keys like to call themselves "Parrot Heads".

Crisp bold lime greens, bright orange and deep cobalt blues are the highlight colors of this captivating tropical sculpture. The extensive use of multi-colored dichroic glass brings out brilliant sparkles of light througout the deep blue waters and the sky frame bordering the piece.

It is the 7th piece in the I ANIMALI collection (The Animals) paying particular tribute to our South Florida wildlife and sure to be a cherished heirloom for generations to come in any family.
