Fire Glass and Ceramics In One Kiln. The deluxe model allows you to select top and side (glass) or side only (ceramic) firing elements. With twice the depth of the JK2 you have the freedom to stack multiple shelves while firing ceramics and the ability to create deep fused glass projects all with the flip of a switch!
Constructed of hand selected, high durability, bricks rated to a maximum temperature of 2400 degrees Fahrenheit. The brick is protected by a stainless steel jacket. In case of any brick needing replacement, the jacket is equipped with turn buckles that allow the jacket to be removed.
This kiln features a 45 degree groove in the insulating brick. This provides a resting place for the heating elements preventing excessive bulging during normal operation. The angled groove style also makes replacement of the element easier, because there is a place for the element to rest while it is pinned.
275 lbs. Uses 240V outlet. Runs on 40 amps for glass and 45 amps for ceramics. Pickup or truck shipment - call for freight quote.
