Pine Cones & Needles Casting And Slumper Mold Description
Colour de Verre molds are the simple way to cast glass. Merge the age-old art of pate de verre glass casting with modern technology and contemporary design! Create pieces that are beautiful enough to stand alone or to incorporate into larger projects. The open, hollow design promotes even heating and cooling. Molds can be filled with glass frit, powder, or sheet glass.
Double sided for value and convenience! Mold has four pine cones on one side, and three pine needle branches on the back (see images below). Mold measures 4-1/2" x 8" x 1-1/5". Holds 12, 18, 23, and 30 grams of frit in the pine cones. Cones measure approximately 1-3/4" x 1" and 2-1/4" x 1-1/8". Pine needles hold 6, 7, and 9 grams of frit and measure 2-1/2" x 2-1/4". In the first image below pine cones and needles are shown below with branches made from mold #77863.
Firing recommendations: Pine Needles - 1325ºF for 96 COE and 1350ºF for 90 COE. Pine Cones - 1350ºF for 96 COE and 1375ºF for 90 COE.
