A real workhorse, the DL5000 is one of the biggest and fastest bandsaws available for glass. Now you're limited only by your imagination! This top of the line bandsaw cuts intricate shapes in glass up to 12-1/2" wide and 3/4" thick. Super powerful 1/2 hp variable speed motor makes easy work of even the thickest glass (see image). The recirculating water pump keeps a steady flow of water at the cutting point, and the oversize 15" x 13" cutting table provides stability for large sheets of glass. The special 3/16" diamond blade easily makes the most intricate cuts in glass. Want to cut a 24" circle? No problem. How about an "S" curve in dalle de verre slab glass? You can do it all with the DL5000!
For making intricate cuts in marble, granite, ceramic, travertine and porcelain, a special 1/4" diamond tile blade is available (Item#7397RB). This tool is designed just for our international customers. This item uses international voltage of 220/240V, common in Europe and other parts of the world, but will not work with North American electrical outlets.
