Pros : Works as promised; compact.
Cons : Filter needs to be changed periodically, which is understandable. Has to be set quite close to the soldering point.

Pros : Might be good for soldering very small projects.
Cons : This fume trap has to be practically on top of your soldering in order to work. If you're soldering a panel, it's worthless. The fan doesn't have nearly enough power to divert the fumes into the trap.

Pros : The intake of the fumes through this small fume trap is very thorough when positioned near the direct working area according to the directions that came with the trap. I am very pleased with the "suction" capacity for such a small trap. I recommend this trap for smaller projects and small working areas. I still use a mask when soldering.
Cons : Some fumes in the near local of usage are not diverted into the trap.
