Pros : Easy to assemble, easy to use
Cons : none
| Other Thoughts : A great little grinder for the money. Seems well made and was easy to assemble. The motor is strong and makes easy work of grinding imperfections out of my fused glass pieces. I have no problem holding even the smallest jewelry pieces I make up to the grinding bit -- smooth, rotating action! |

Pros : Love this little grinder. It has a very strong motor. Grinds glass like a charm.
Cons : Face shield has to be purchased separately. No second story shelf, to use smaller bits for tighter radius.
| Other Thoughts : Overall a nice little grinder for a newbie or an occasional user. |

Pros : For beginners this grinder does real well.
Cons : The allen bolt that holds the bit can't be tightened enough to hold the bit in place.
| Other Thoughts : Hope to purchase an additional bit or two to steal the allen bolt from them. |

Pros : Calling this a five star grinder is incorrect. It is a suitable beginners grinder at best.
Cons : Very small work surface in comparison to other grinders on the market. Be prepared to purchase a step up grinder in a short time.

Pros : Low price, simple to use and clean up, tiny size - - it's cute :)
Cons : Work area might be too tiny for larger projects.
| Other Thoughts : I love this grinder! I've had mine for about 5 years and it works like it's brand new. The small size is perfect for beginners, it's easy to use and store, and cleanup's a breeze. It's perfect for the occasional hobbyist like myself because it provides great payoff with minimal investment, plus it can use standard bits (2fer pack to save even more moola). All in all, I love my gryphette and see no reason to upgrade to a bigger more expensive grinder. Try it, you'll love it too :) |
