great machine 4 stars

Pros : I have had this grinder for years. It has never seized, but I suggest you turn it off whenever you are doing something else. I always.
Cons : You do need a grinding station to keep splashing contained and second story is useless because you cannot raise grinding bit or sponge that high.
Other Thoughts : be careful with the grinder. Use K-Y on stem, clean after each use and it will give you good service for at least 10 yrs.(That's how old mine is!)

Pros : OK for light hobbyist and occasional use.
Cons : Cannot lower bit all the way down, reservoir tray leaks, second level useless- impossible to keep wet sponge on grinder bit in second level, motor bogs down with heavy use.

A nightmare 1 stars
By craftglass (top contributor) on July 14, 2010 - See all my reviews
Pros : It is nice to have storage for bits and sponges.
Cons : Overheats and the motor seizes after 1/2 hour of grinding. (I have the legs on risers too, giving the motor plenty of air). Also, this grinder will not let you drop bits down all the way.
