Create with Premium Bullseye Glass!
Premium handmade Bullseye glass is ideal for high-quality kiln work. Specifically formulated and tested for compatibility, this glass withstands multiple firings for complex projects without devitrification. The flatter double-rolled surface minimizes bubble entrapment, so colors can be layered for custom hues. Standard thickness 3mm. 90 COE.

Bullseye Violet Striker Transparent is a lead-bearing glass that may react with glass that contains Sulfur/ Selenium bearing glass.

Note: Striker glass matures to the color shown upon firing. Colors may vary, depending on firing schedule, rate, atmosphere, and heat work. For color-sensitive projects, test before use.

Glass matures to this color upon firing. The main image shows a sheet of the glass in strong light after firing. In the additional images you'll see a comparison swatch of the unfired glass color (top) and the glass after firing to a full fuse (bottom). Swatch image is about 1 inch wide.

Gold-bearing pink, purple, and coral transparents typically require a 2-hour hold at 1200°F–1225°F to fully develop color. Because this change occurs during the first firing and can’t be corrected later, testing is recommended.

Due to the many variables in production, each melt is unique and can be especially sensitive during firing. To support consistent results, Bullseye developed a “Gold Hold” best-to-test list highlighting colors that may under-develop in hotter-than-average kilns. See PDF for details. Results may vary.
