Product Description
Layer, Fire, Create - Acrylic Enamels for Kiln-Fired Glass Art
Bring your glass art to life with this set of nine pre-mixed colors: White, Black, Bright Blue, Orange, Green, Bright Red, Maroon, Brown, and Bright Yellow. These richly pigmented enamels are suspended in a water-based acrylic polymer resin and are ready to use straight from the 1/3 fl. oz. collapsible tube. All colors are intermixable, allowing for a wide range of custom shades.
Apply thin or thick using a brush, palette knife, spatula, or other tools. Let one color dry, then layer others on top — all designed for single firing. These enamels are formulated for kiln-fired glass art and are ground finer than standard powders, making them more sensitive to heat. For best results, fire at 1200°F, and do not exceed 1300°F.
Note: Firing times and temperatures are general guidelines. Your specific kiln and materials may require adjustment.
Delphi Tip: Vent your kiln during the heating phase to safely release any painting medium fumes.
