What is Copper Enameling?
Copper enameling is the process of apply finely grounded glass powder, also known as enamel, onto copper metal. It can be sifted on dry or mixed with a medium and painted on. It is then fired in an enameling furnace, permanently bonding the enamel to the surface of the metal.
Step-by-Step: Enameling on Metals

| 1. Clean metal. |
| 2. Sift on a layer of enamel. |
| 3. Place on a tripod. Fire until surface is smooth and glossy. |
| 4. Repeat steps for additonal colors. |
