| The best

Pros : The pistol grip design is not only easier on the hands, but allows you to cut on the inside of a wine bottle to take it apart.
Cons : None that I have found yet...

| pistol grip supercutter
Pros : The standard by which good cutters are measured. It is no accident that this is the glass cutter of choice in every stained glass shop I have been in.
Cons : None
| Other Thoughts : A great professional tool at a very good price. |
| dip it
Pros : I have been using this type of cutter for years, maybe even since it first appeared on the market. It is superior to the older pencil-held tool and easier to use, taking less coordination and hand/arm muscle. And remember, the tips are replaceable.
Cons : I found out long ago that the oiler doesn't work that well. And to fill it full and then lay on its side, it leaks. If you choose to put oil in it, just use a little bit. I have been dipping mine for years.

| Easy on your hand
Pros : I have found this cutter to be easy on your hands, especially when cutting many pieces of glass. I switched from ones I had been using for years.
Cons : It does leak when laid on it's side. I also tightened the screw too tight when filling and it cracked along the seam. I have re ordered a new one.

Pros : I can't imagine using any other cutter! I teach beginners how to cut glass. They're cutting glass easily in no time at all with the Toyo pistol grip.
Cons : None!!

| Only 30 years Hmmmm
Pros : I could have sworn I owned them longer than 30 years. Still I have had five of them now. I would not even try anything else. They are the best.
Cons : If I could find one better I would. I have tried a few. Do wish they came with a second tip for free. Just always buy a second tip. When they go bad it happens in two minutes flat.
| Other Thoughts : I just order two more for myself, what does that tell you? Somebody liked the ones I had really well. They decided to grow legs and walked out the door. They were both old enough to start Grade school this year too. |
| good or bad

Cons : the seams are and have been cracked since I first got one don't think i would order a new one
| Other Thoughts : if you have one and like it then you are the lucky one. I just don't think i like it. |

Pros : Love this cutter. Comfortable to hold, angled to allow view of field thereby increasing accuracy. Wish I'd had this cutter when I was a picture framer.
Cons : Would be great to include a replacement head with purchase.
