Ring Saw Alternative
Pros : I used my mom's ring saw for years, but happily decided on this when I went to buy for myself. There are some great advantages including the significantly cheaper blades, clear up and down direction of the cut and ease of use. When I first got it, I had to put it together, a little tricky, but the instructional video that comes with it really helps. The large work surface is great. Though it's large, it's not too heavy, and I can move it between workspaces. It makes very clean intricate cuts, though like the ring saw there's a learning curve to make your cuts smooth. The water supply is very consistent and every stays wet and cool.
Cons : The steady water source can obscure your cutting lines. It's fairly noisy and can create glass shards, but I found the same thing with the ring saw. Until you learn the knack, it's a little tricky to take the work surface off for cleaning.
Other Thoughts : I found that water builds up on the work surface and along the glass very quickly. If you're working on anything more than a couple of inches, water will spill off the sides. This machine is very tall and not portable. It's best to just set if up and not have to return it to the box very often.

Omni-2 Best
Pros : This saw cuts in all directions. The blade selection is good and replacement blades are very reasonable.
Cons : Somewhat noisy, but not that bad. Spits a little water, just use a towel.
Other Thoughts : Read the directions twice before you assemble it. Pay attention!

Saves glass
Pros : Great for me as a beginner since I save glass. Use for fine or hard cuts. Noise no louder than a carpenter saw.
Cons : Blade chuck is plastic but seems to hold-up so far. A little too much water comes out on piece being cut.
Other Thoughts : I really zip thru my projects now...I still use my hand cutter but this saw really helps!

Works, with issues
Pros : The saw definitely cuts glass and allows flexible curves and deep inside cuts as well. I have also used it to cut came and that sort of works.
Cons : Very loud. But worse than that is the design of the chuck and its placement. Plus the blade falls out at least once during every session of use (i.e., 4 or more cuts) Considering that the blade is always falling out and needs to be put back in, you'd think they would make the chuck more accessible. I have small hands/fingers and I can barely fit my fingers behind the metal vertical bars to press the back of the chuck nut to turn it. The little tool that came with the unit is absolutely useless since it does not fit between the bars, allowing you to turn the nut. Bad design. I pretty much leave the front cover off, since I am in there fooling with it so often. BTW: what makes the blade fall off is that the tip gets stuck in the lower guide, which is getting clogged with glass bits. They need a way to protect that area from water/debris.
Other Thoughts : I still like the idea of the wire saw and it Gryphon could make these improvements they would really have something.

Water, Water Everywhere!
Pros : Set up is pretty easy, and the blades are simple enough to change. Definitely cuts multi directionally.
Cons : Take a look at the picture and you'll see that the work surface has holes in a very small area which means there's no place for the water to go but on your table or floor unless you are working on a very small piece of glass. And because the diameter of the water tube is about the size of a straw a lot of water comes out and on top of your glass. If you get air in that tube you have to blow it out which is pretty gross.
Other Thoughts : I didn't drain the water out of the reservoir last time I used it and about a month later I looked in it to see how much water was left and I noticed my blade had rust on it. =( It doesn't say in the instruction manual to drain it after each use, or what type of water to use (pretty bare bone instruction manual). A friend recommended using distilled water next time.
