| works great
Pros : Has been great for me! I fire entire shelves worth of jewelry pieces with terrific results.
Cons : Minor texture on the back of pieces, but it's not enough to bother me.
| Other Thoughts : Considering the cost of some firing papers, this stuff is really economical and practical. |
| Economy shelf paper
Pros : Great when lining a large shelf or firing a large amount if glass. Shelf cleans up easily with shop vac.
Cons : Rolls up around edges but easy to over come by using scrap glass to hold down edges
| Other Thoughts : Would recommend for ease of use |
| Economy shelf paper
Pros : none
Cons : Leaves a more textured surface on glass. Seems to float up when firing.
Will not order this type of paper again. Sorry that I bought the roll.
| Only if you have to....
Pros : Price, leaves project smooth.
Cons : Likes to roll up and get on project, leaves a cloud look.
| Other Thoughts : Only buy if you have to, used many times and still favor 'Bullseye Thinfire'. Money better spent on the good stuff. |
| OK, not great.
Pros : very economical and can cut 3 pieces per length to fit the small (13") kiln shelf.
Cons : tends to "blow up" and fold up around the edges of the glass. requires a lot of labor to clean off the bottom of the piece since the fibers stick to the glass. also leaves a fine residue even after washing the glass surface, so it sometimes requires multiple washes.
| Other Thoughts : I will purchase it again since my kiln work is secondary to my stained glass work and the extra clean-up time is worth the cost savings. |
