| Fusing Mold
Pros : Love the different usage.
Cons : Even with primer the glass tends to get stuck and I have to use a soft hammer to get it off.

Pros : works well for napkin holders
Cons : 1. MUCH too thick for slumping business card holders
2. You absolutely must use fiber paper with this mold or the glass will be permanently attached.

| Card/Napkin Mold
Pros : Easy way to make a business card holder. Fits in small kilns!
Cons : If not in kiln the correct direction some of the corners will not slump.
| Other Thoughts : Use kiln paper. |
| Business Card Holder
Pros : Straight forward, easy to use. Can make lots of different things with a little imagination. I have been making brochure holders in addition to business card holders. USE kiln paper
Cons : The 1st time I used this I had coated with kiln wash as I do all my molds. The glass stuck to the sides and I had to pry it off.
| Other Thoughts : Now I use a reusable piece of fiber blanket hanging over the edges on the top where I put my glass. It works like a charm and no more sticking. |
| Business Card Mold
Pros : This was my first attempt at anything besides fusing for jewelry. It was a total success! I was sure I would mess up my first attempt. I cannot wait until my show this weekend to see if any customers comment on my new business card holder. I am sure my next attempt will be a little more creative!
Cons : I only have a small kiln, so it fit quite close to the top. Checking the slumping stage has to be very quick to avoid cooling to quickly.
| Other Thoughts : If I can do it, you can too! |
| usiness Card/napkin hol
Pros : At least it is not expensive
Cons : This mould was a total failure for me. The glass not only slumped, but it almost went in at the bottom, making it very hard to get the glass off the mould. Mine broke first time. Will not be buying a new one to replace it.
