Pros : It grips well. Does save fingers and helps with fatigue.
Cons : My only problem with it is it sits up high on the grinder shaft. I have the flip bit sleeve, so I just raised it a bit and that helped alot.
| Other Thoughts : I am all for anything that saves my fingers. So if you make that one adjustment I mentioned above, it works great. |
| Use this all the time on small pieces |

Pros : This product really helps to save your hands when grinding small pieces. I wouldn't grind them without this product. Love it! Holds even the smallest glass securely.
Cons : Might require you to make a slight adjustment in the height of your grinder bit.

Pros : Great tool for handling small pieces and excellent for those who find it difficult to grip the glass due to strength or getting cramp.
Cons : Ensure your grinder head is set higher or you will be positioning the glass against the non-abrasive part of the head. It is not a problem if you are aware of it.
| Other Thoughts : I wouldn't be without one and my students love it. |

Pros : Holds glass reasonably well.
Cons : Holds glass too far off the top of a grinding deck to use much of the grinding head's grinding surface. I cannot use this with my wire cutter. It will not fit under the guard.
| Other Thoughts : While I thought this produce would be the answer to holding small parts when grinding, I found that it was just too bulky to use and have gone back to holding the small parts by hand. |

Pros : Does save fingers on small pieces,
Cons : Device holds glass too high and above your bits grinding surface!! Glass slips with slightest amount of pressure.
| Other Thoughts : Good idea but needs to be rethought. Tighter grip and lower grip would make it much better. |

Pros : Keeps fingers out of grinding wheel.
Cons : Glass slips in jaws with little pressure, especially when trying to grind small textured pieces. Tool can only be used until grinding wheel is adjusted to new position, then the wheel surface is too low to allow the use of the tool.
| Other Thoughts : Tool would be more useful if clamping jaws were closer to the bottom of the product. |
| A MUST HAVE! |

Pros : I first discovered this helpful tool on the final day of a stained glass class I was taking - had I only known about it beforehand! It's lightweight, easy to use, and makes easily grinding smaller pieces a snap without GRINDING your fingertips. The rubber tips act like a soft vice and give you perfect control over the piece.
Cons : Not so great with long, narrow pieces, as the glass loses integrity when off of a solid surface. I broke a few this way.
| Other Thoughts : For any of you copper foilers out there, you will love this tool! It saved my poor fingers. |
