Pros : They work great.
Cons : They really do disappear quickly. They are expensive to buy when they don't last very long. They are better than using steel wool to clean solder.

Pros : Really prepares the solder to accept patina evenly and richly. I was hooked the first time I used it.

Pros : I love the bright consistent look of the patina after using the Patina Buddy. Works really well on older projects that have darkened, if you want to put patina on something that has turned dark gray instead of silver. I never use patina without it!
Cons : If you are not careful, you can scratch your solder.
