Pros : This stuff works great, puts a good long lasting shine on solder and other metals. As a police officer I have also used it for 25 years on uniform brass, it works great.
Cons : Can be hard to get excess out of deeper grooves in metal.
Other Thoughts : Good stuff!!

Pros : Removes most corrosion and dirt from zinc came framing once piece is framed. Just glistens!
Cons : Need to wear gloves. Will have black goo everywhere because it works so well.
Other Thoughts : Leaves a beautiful, protected,and professional looking finish.

Pros : Simichrome Polish delivers the most brilliant and long lasting shine with a minimal amount of elbow grease. It's incredibly potent and easy to use. Just a pea sized amount on a rag can easily polish a small to mid-sized panel. Works great to shine copper patina and in my experience can create a beautiful aged bronze effect when used on black patina.
Cons : I have seen simichrome polish take copper patina off especially in raised or over polished spots. For that reason I use this polish a bit more gently on copper patina. Not to worry - if you do accidentally polish a bit too much you can easily re-apply patina.
Other Thoughts : Use sparingly! A little really does go a long way.

Pros : If you like solder to really shine...this stuff is WAY better than finishing polish.
Cons : Like anything that comes in a metal tube, if you squeeze too much you get more than you need...and you don't need a lot of this. A little goes a long way.
Other Thoughts : I have only used this on solder that does not have any patina on it. But it makes plain silver look great.
