Product Description
50/50 Solder blend has a higher melting point than 60/40 solder, often utilized to create a base bead, it prevents "bleed through" to the back side of your project. Note: 60/40 is then used to create the final bead. Convenient 1 lb. spool.

50% TIN / 50% LEAD STAINED GLASS WIRE SOLDER: The ideal solder for copper foil seams and general purpose use. Melting temperature: 361° - 421°F.

Pros : I teach beginning stained glass and we use this for its cost-effectiveness. We have never had any problems with it; it gets the job done.
Cons : It is not lead-free, which is a con as far as health goes.
Other Thoughts : You can't beat the volume discount...believe me, I've looked!

Delphi Releases 19 New How-To Videos

For the last several months, Delphi has been collecting feedback from its fans in preparation for shooting a new series of How-To videos. Topics include everything from How to Remove the Blow Pipe from a Glaskolben Ornament to How to Do Easy Decorative Soldering Techniques. Nineteen videos were shot in total, at the Lansing Creativity Center, with the help of Delphis expert instructors. The videos are now part of Delphis ever-expanding video library of more than 155 videos. They can be viewed on Delphis YouTube channel or on Delphis Art Glass TV video section of the website.
