Pros : I teach beginning stained glass and we use this for its cost-effectiveness. We have never had any problems with it; it gets the job done.
Cons : It is not lead-free, which is a con as far as health goes.
Other Thoughts : You can't beat the volume discount...believe me, I've looked!

Pros : I've used this Mastercraft 50-50 solder for 3.5 years and have had very good success with it. It can be temperamental regarding the heat however.
Cons : Possibly the way this solder is temperamental to the heat or lack thereof.
