| Other Thoughts : I bought this as a last resort in an attempt to save an old iron tip that was very dirty and not holding temperature well anymore. I had already tried all the other methods of cleaning the tip (brass brush, etc.) to no avail, and this product brought it back from the dead! The tip is now clean and shiny and working great. Definitely worth the money. |

Pros : I keep my Tinning Block close while soldering and use it frequently, especially if it's a large panel. It REALLY makes a difference in how easily your solder flows. I've been using the same block for years and years.

| Other Thoughts : I haven't actually tried this, but my local stained glass shop said you can rub a wet paint brush on your Sal Ammoniac and use it to give 3-D items cut from 24 gauge sheet copper that nice blue-green patina. |

Pros : Wonderful product that gives long life to your iron tips. Hot solder looks like mercury hanging from the tip of my iron after using this product. Making a smooth rounded bead of solder just got much easier. Thank you for a great product.
