It is popular with beginner to advanced glass artisans not only because of its economical price and beautiful color, but also because it is easy-to-cut. This factory pack includes a broad range of cathedrals, 2-5 color opal mixes and curious colors. 150 pieces, 8" x 10" each.

Pros : Price wasn't bad. Still too much for what you got.
Cons : 8 to 10 pieces of the same glass for at least 10 of the colors. Rest of the glass was 1 piece to 5 pieces of the same color. Lots of waste as some pieces were obvious scraps (missing a chunk, cut crooked, and even had score lines in them). 5 broken pieces
Other Thoughts : I should have known - seems everyone gets disappointed with the crates and packs. I would recommend buying individual pieces of glass and stay far far away from crates and packs.
Why are there different colors of foil? Copper foil is available with several color backings. The backing is on the adhesive side of the foil so that when the foil is wrapped around a piece of transparent glass the color backing is visible if you look inside the foiled area through the glass. This sounds like a small detail, but if you patina your solder lines, a different color foil backing would be very obvious if you used cathedral or clear glass. If you plan on using copper patina the copper foil with no color backing will match, if you plan on leaving the solder in its natural silver color the silver foil will match, or black backed foil for black patina. By using matched foil and solder finish you eliminate having a black solder line with a halo of copper showing through the glass. Im having difficulty getting a
