16" x 24" Homasote Board

Pros : This board is great.....good size...stable and thick enough to hold push pins

Pros : I have used this board for about a year now and still works super. pins are hard to push in but this is good cause they don't fall out either if you bump th

Cons : only con is that flux does soak up into board BUT if you apply a small layer of clear paint or something like this it will stop it soaking it up . I used primer and sealed it up and when it gets too dirty just sealed it over again stillworks. Just be sure to check paint or whatever you seal it with as far as burning with an iron. so far been ok using primer sealer and keeping a neat clean surface to work on.

Other Thoughts : please on above primer sealer read the can for heat uses. some are flamable!! use a latex primer sealer and I have been ok so far. and it does look nicer with a clean white surface to work on and helps with seeing thru glass some. Just use latex primer sealer and should be ok. if in doubt go to paint store take board with you and ask there.

Pros : I love the larger and more compact work surface of the Homosote Board....

Cons : My stained glass push pins are extremely hard to push into this! A little disappointed in that!
