Pros : I was looking for something to hold a 1/4" x 8" square so that I can do the David Alcala sand design technique using frit. This tool definitely does the trick. It is simple to use and holds the glass well.
Other Thoughts : Such a simple device. You may be able to make it yourself, but after buying the wood, cutting and assembling it, you would spend at least the cost of it already made.

It is like having an extra pair of hands.
Pros : My students LOVE this product! They use it all the time and in fact argue over who's turn it is. Which is funny as they're in their 50's. I guess I better order a couple more.
