Pros : When you actually get a nice fire out of it, it is pretty, but NOT worth the hassle!
|
Cons : The glass was horrible! For the price, you should expect it to be awesome, and not so high-maintenance. If you read the desc. of this glass, there are no extra firing tips, cautionary tips, etc...When you receive the glass, there are no other specific instructions either, so I used this as I would any other glass. I made a large piece, and when it was done, the plum had this horrible filmy look to it, so I called for support. They asked if I capped it....no, I did not, and would not have bought this had I been told that it indeed NEEDED to be capped, since I don't like capping all of my big pieces. Than, another person told me to fire until at least a specific temp.-again, I would not have bought had I known that it HAD to be fired that high. Getting no where, I now use only in jewelry...BUT, 4 pieces on all the same shelf came out all different-some good, others not!

| Other Thoughts : Don't buy, but, if you do need this color, you have to use devitrification spray every time you use it, other wise the results are a gamble!! Just my two cents!! |
