@Cw2rsmith It can be fired against the kiln shelf. If fired between glass, it is possible to get some bubbles so…a firing schedule with a bubble squeeze will work best. Check System 96 website for firing schedule with a bubble squeeze.

After the liquid stringer dries, can it be fired face down on the kiln shelf? I want to have the tektra on the top because it has paint pen outlines and I want the color underneath. How well does the liquid stringer medium burn out if it is sandwiched between two 3mm pieces of COE 90 glass?

It depend on the environment how long it will take to dry. The color will lighten as it dries.
