Fibroid glass offers a unique linear texture, similar to corduroy. When used in stained glass art, the lines add architectural interest. In fused art, the texture can be used to create a multitude of effects. Fill the lines with enamels, frit or glassline paints for stunning stripes, tack fuse to retain texture, or layer glass to trap tiny air bubbles adding depth.
