Pros : Easy to use...I made my test tiles almost immediately and had great early success with projects. Found great customer service though my kiln was backordered several times i only had to wait one additional month from expected available date to receive my kiln whereas if I had ordered from the factory I would have been looking at about a year's wait.
Cons : I found the pre programed settings fired a little hot. Easy to reprogram though.

Other Thoughts : I've had this kiln for about 9 months now and just started firing it up in my studio when I got an electrical upgrade. I'm a total novice to fusing/slumping but the computer interface on this is super simple and even I could figure it out. 3 projects done and it's working great. Comes with loads of presets to tack/fuse/slump 90 and 96 COE glass.

  •   Great new controller and kiln

Pros : Easy to program, change schedules, load and store multiple schedules
Cons : Controller is not attached to kiln, have to program in date and time on each startup.
Other Thoughts : This kiln is a big improvement over my previous 16" square 120 volt kiln. I had a problem with the touchscreen right out of the box, but the customer service and replacement were excellent. I find it easier to program using a stylus rather than my fat fingers. I love the visual control over firing schedules and the ease of transferring projects directly to the kiln floor for firing. Using this has made me rethink the way I use my other kiln, too. The manuals that came with the kiln are full of helpful tips. Great product!
