Product Description

Make your art glow with designer decals by simply cutting with scissors or using decorative punches. For best results fire between layers of glass. Includes instructions. Works with all COEs. Measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/2". Decals mature between 1250°-1400°F.

  Instructions:

  1. Soak decal in water until it begins separating from the paper backing.
  2. Carefully remove decal from water and slide onto your glass project.
  3. Gently remove all air bubbles and excess moisture from the decal with a soft cloth.
  4. Let the decals dry overnight to ensure all moisture has evaporated before firing.
  5. Place project in kiln and fire. Can be clear-capped during second firing. 
  6. Decals mature between 1250-1400°F.

  •   Bright and easy to work with

Pros : this is easier to work with than loose powder, you can cut it to shape, though paper punches had a bit of trouble getting though it, it did hold up well on the skinny parts. The glow is quite bright and long lasting. Just walking it from car to shop was bright enough to see the glow inside.
Cons : Much thicker than dicro or enamel slide, the shapes appear patchy or like baby swiss up close. Also, if left uncapped it's quite textured.
Other Thoughts : Bright enough to show though cathedrals if charged in bright light.
