Ephrem's Bottle Cutter
Hate to diss someone else's invention, but would return this product if I could. I have used it on and off for a number of weeks and always end up getting totally frustrated with it.
There is no ruler and the screw that holds the back stop makes it difficult to adjust to a required length. The options for size of glass rings is limited. You cannot cut close to the bottom of the bottle. The bottle can move around too much so that no matter how carefully you try to turn it, the score line often does not meet up. It is also not possible to cut bottles with smaller diameters than a wine bottle. Large bottles are also difficult to work with.
All in all, this cutter is a good idea that needs more polishing to make it workable. I have ruined far more bottles than I have successfully scored.
